• Profile Data: Rig/vehicle information, bio, interests
• Content: Posts, photos, moments, comments, and messages you create
• Location Data: When you choose to share your location or tag posts with locations

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: How you interact with the App (screens visited, features used)
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version
• Analytics: Aggregated usage statistics via PostHog

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the App
• Enable social features (posts, messaging, following)
• Show you relevant content and nearby travelers (when location is shared)
• Send notifications about activity on your account
• Improve the App based on usage patterns
• Ensure safety and prevent abuse

Information Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data:

• With Other Users: Your public profile, posts, and shared location are visible to other users
• Service Providers: We use Supabase (database), Sentry (error tracking), and PostHog (analytics)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety

Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers
• We use encryption for data transmission (HTTPS)
• We implement access controls and security best practices

• Access your personal data through your profile
• Delete your account and associated data

Location Data

• Location is only collected when you explicitly enable it
• You can disable location permissions in your device settings

Children's Privacy

RoadBound is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
