Agreement to Terms

By using RoadBound ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

RoadBound is a social platform for RV, van life, and overlanding travelers. Features include trip planning, point of interest discovery, social networking, and community meetups.

Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to use RoadBound
You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, text, etc.)
By posting, you grant RoadBound a license to display and distribute your content within the App
You are responsible for your content and must have rights to share it

Content Guidelines

You agree NOT to post content that:

Is illegal, harmful, or threatening
Harasses, bullies, or discriminates against others
Contains explicit sexual content or nudity
Promotes violence or illegal activities
Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains spam or misleading information
Shares others' private information without consent

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Respect other users and their privacy
Not attempt to access other users' accounts
Not interfere with the App's operation
Not use automated systems or bots
Not reverse engineer the App

Points of Interest (POIs)

Important: POI information is user-contributed and may not be accurate. Always verify conditions before visiting locations. Respect private property and local regulations.

Meetups and Events

RoadBound facilitates connections but does not organize meetups
Users participate in meetups at their own risk
We are not responsible for conduct at user-organized events
Exercise caution when meeting strangers

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

Accuracy of POI or route information
Availability or uptime of the App
Safety of user-generated content
Outcomes of interactions with other users

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoadBound and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, personal injury or property damage, or actions of other users.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, USA.
